SAFE ENVIRONMENT│ It's one of our values. We hope to provide a safe place for your child to come where they will be cared for and prepared for. Here are a few things we do to ensure safety:
1. Background checks on all volunteers 2. Child Check-in System (We watch for allergies, special needs...etc.) 3. A Security Team on Campus at all times (Look for the men and women in yellow shirts) 4. Organized drop-off and pick-up system (Parents/guardians will need a special identification badge for pick-up). 5. 3 Counselors per age group (Your child will be assigned to an age appropriate small group)
If your child has special accommodations, be sure to let us know when you register and when you arrive with your child. We know kids learn on their level in different ways. And a safe environment makes a difference in how a child learns.
CREATIVE BIBLE EXPERIENCES │ Again, it's one of our values. We are passionate about the Bible coming to life, which is why we incorporate live drama, music, games and hands-on experiences to make the Bible real for kids.
CHARACTER TRAINING│ We think character matters. That's why we focus on character traits during CAMP 127. Choices become habits, habits become character and character is what either creates life or destroys life in community. We want kids to know they can make the wise choice every time.
MENTORING AND COUNSELORS │ We know relationship is key. We value relationship, first with Jesus and second with each other. Our goal is to make sure every kid knows they are loved by God and help them belong somewhere. Our counselors take delight in making kids feel welcome, loved and excited about life and about God.
We have a dedicated group of men and women across generations that care about children and want to see them engage in life with Christ. Our counselors know time is precious and they know everything positive they do over time makes those things matter even more in the lives of kids.
FUN!│Really? Yes, we think fun is a value. If you've been around a kid, you know they love to have fun. And if you haven't realized, kids learn a lot when they are having fun. We know everything can't be fun, but more things could definitely use a little more fun.
